Coleman Accelerated Transport operates a text-message program used to send port gate codes and load assignments to the drivers and office staff who work for us. These terms describe that program.
What the program is
Coleman Dispatch is an internal operational messaging program. It sends drayage dispatch information from Coleman Accelerated Transport to our own truck drivers, contracted drivers, and office staff.
Messages are sent from 864-664-3695. Typical messages include:
- South Carolina Ports outgate and ingate codes
- Container and booking numbers for an assigned load
- The terminal a container is pulled from or returned to
- Delivery appointment times and customer locations
- Chassis assignments and load changes during the workday
This program is not used for marketing, advertising, or promotional messages of any kind.
Who receives messages, and how consent is given
Only people who work for Coleman Accelerated Transport receive these messages. There is no public sign-up form and no way for a member of the public to join this program.
Drivers and staff provide their mobile number directly to the dispatcher during hiring and onboarding, and give written consent on their employment paperwork to receive operational dispatch text messages at that number. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
We do not add a number to this program from any source other than the person it belongs to.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with the workday. A driver typically receives between two and ten messages on a day they are dispatched, and none on days they are not working.
Message and data rates may apply. Coleman Accelerated Transport does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply to messages you send and receive.
How to stop or get help
You can control the messages you receive at any time by replying with one of these keywords:
- STOP — You are unsubscribed immediately and receive no further messages. We reply once to confirm, then stop. Also accepted: CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, STOPALL, REVOKE.
- START — You are resubscribed and will begin receiving dispatch messages again.
- HELP — You receive a reply with contact information for reaching a person. Also accepted: INFO.
You may also call or email us using the contact information at the bottom of this page and ask to be removed. Opting out of text messages does not affect your employment.
Carriers and delivery
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and most other U.S. carriers.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Because message delivery depends on your carrier and your device, do not rely on a text message alone for time-critical port or safety information — confirm with dispatch if a message does not arrive.
Privacy
Mobile numbers collected for this program are used only to operate it. We do not share, sell, or rent mobile opt-in information or consent to third parties for marketing purposes. Our Privacy Policy describes in full what we collect and how it is handled.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our operations or carrier requirements change. The effective date below reflects the most recent revision. Continued participation in the program after a revision means you accept the updated terms.
